Ram and Hanuman

 Ram - Energy and Consciousness

Hanuman, as depicted in Sanatan Dharma, embodies an eternal, dynamic energy field, a concentrated force arising from a constant vibrating field.

Uncontrolled energy continuously changes states but is never created or destroyed, only transformed. Ram, on the other hand, represents consciousness, the directing force that directs and balances energy. Together, they form the ideal harmony of the cosmic order.

The cosmos is a dynamic equilibrium of energy and consciousness that manifests as matter, movement, and harmony. We perceive these as positive and negative energies. In electrical systems, this balance appears as the anode (positive charge) and the cathode (negative charge). Just as energy flows through circuits, consciousness channels energy toward purposeful action, much like Hanuman’s immense energy being guided by Ram’s will.

Hanuman: The Science of Trapped Energy

Vedic knowledge, deeply embedded in metaphysics, presents Hanuman as a living representation of energy, uncontrollable unless guided by consciousness. This is reflected in Hanuman’s resemblance to a monkey, an animal whose characteristics metaphorically align with energy:

  • Constant movement: Monkeys do not settle in one place, just as energy is always in motion and never static.
  • Agitation: When provoked, monkeys jump erratically, like energy, which reacts to stimuli by shifting states.
  • Dominance: The highest-ranking monkey claims the highest vantage point, just as energy seeks dominance and influence over its environment.
  • Equilibrium: A monkey's tail helps it balance energy and maintain equilibrium with temperature variations.
  • Hanuman’s presence in high places: It is believed that Hanuman resides at the highest pinnacle of properties, signified by a flag (Jhanda). Likewise, energy always seeks the highest potential in its surroundings, as seen in natural phenomena like lightning strikes.

The Eight Manifestations of Energy by Hanuman
Energy manifests in multiple forms, including kinetic, potential, thermal, radiant, chemical, nuclear, electrical, motion, sound, elastic, and gravitational energy. Hanuman embodies all these properties, making him an eternal force that aids cosmic balance. When this energy aligns with consciousness (Ram), it manifests as dharmic action and divine purpose. Carried by divine souls, it can be awakened through devotion.

Ram Bhakta Hanuman: The Ever-present Energy

Hanuman, granted immortality, is present to safeguard the truth. The Bhakti era emphasizes devotion as the key to invoking Hanuman’s energy. In the Hanuman Chalisa, Tulsidas expresses that chanting it with sincere devotion attracts Hanuman, affirming the belief that his energy intervenes during critical moments. Similarly, Nama Ramayanam, a condensed version of Valmiki’s Ramayana, parallels the Hanuman Chalisa in invoking divine vibrations.

Hanuman’s Role Across Yugas

  • Satya Yuga: Hanuman plays a central role in the Ramayana, with the fifth book, Sundara Kanda, highlighting his actions and solidifying his position as the devoted servant of Ram, the embodiment of consciousness.
  • Dwapara Yuga: Hanuman remains active in the Mahabharata, symbolizing his eternal presence.
    • In Bhagavad Gita 1.20, Arjuna, bearing Hanuman’s insignia on his chariot, turns to Krishna for guidance.
    • In the Salya Parva, after Krishna and Arjuna depart from the battlefield, Hanuman vanishes, and the chariot is consumed by flames, signifying the fulfillment of its divine purpose.
    • In Vana Parva, Bhima, known for his strength, fails to move Hanuman’s tail, symbolizing the superior power of controlled energy.

Vedic roots and Hanuman’s energy.

The Rigveda (Hymn 10.86) mentions an energetic divine monkey, Vrisakapi, which some scholars interpret as a proto-human. In this hymn, Indra acknowledges the energetic being as a friend, reflecting on how energy should be harmonized rather than opposed.

Ram: The Supreme Consciousness

Maryada Purushottam Ram embodies the ideal being, consciousness in its purest and highest form. The universe operates through time, space, matter, energy, and consciousness. While energy manifests as light, consciousness remains the supreme force shaping reality. The Upanishads describe consciousness as the supreme entity, the guiding intelligence behind the universe.

The energy is Hanuman, who attains immortality through the mantra II RAM II, vibrating across the cosmos at universal frequency. When all matter and energy dissolve, consciousness remains.

Scientific Revelation: Energy and Consciousness Merge

Recent discoveries show that light may transition into a solid state at extremely low temperatures, confirming the Vedic theory that energy can be stabilized into a steady state. This aligns with the ultimate truth of consciousness governing the universe, Ram, the eternal intelligence that brings order to energy.

Hanuman and Ram, as energy and consciousness, are the inseparable forces of cosmic balance. By invoking Hanuman, we harness energy, and by meditating on Ram, we attain consciousness,  leading to liberation and divine harmony.

The Evolution of the Mantras: Ram and Om Through the Yugas

As time unfolded through the Yugas, the sacred mantras II RAM II and II OM II became synonymous with existence and spiritual evolution.

In Treta Yuga, ŚrīRāma, the embodiment of Dharma, conscious awareness, detachment, righteous judgment, and supreme spiritual wisdom, became the guiding force for humanity. His name, II RAM II, was not merely a chant but a source of divine power, strength, and inner transformation. Even after 14,000 years, Ram endures, not just as a name but as a vibration of immense significance.

With the transition through three Yuga cycles into the present age, IIOMII emerged as the all-encompassing cosmic resonance, symbolizing the eternal rhythm of existence. It became the sacred sound of the universe, harmonizing all life forms with the divine order of creation.

"AUM resonates as the ultimate reality, uniting cosmic energy, divine consciousness, Shiva-Shakti, creation, preservation, and dissolution in harmony."
